The 4 main airports of Paris are the followings:
23 kilometres north east of Paris near the village of Roissy-en-France there is the Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). The largest airport serving Paris, it has two terminals, the second of which is split into the following terminals: 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D.
South of Paris (14 kilometres) near the town of Orly is Orly Airport. It has two terminals refered to as Orly-Sud (Orly South) and Orly-Ouest (Orly West). Beauvais Airport (BVA) is the Parisian gateway for several budget airlines such as Ryanair, Sterling, Blue Air, Norwegian Air Shuttle, and Wizzair. The airport is located in Tille, just outside the town of Beauvais, about 80 km or 50 miles northwest of Paris. Le Bourget Airport nowadays only hosts business jets.
The French capital has 7 train stations. Gare de Lyon: Recent modernization work allows the TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) to serve this station. Departures for southern France, the Alps, Switzerland, Italy and Greece are from here. Gared'Austerlitz: Trains depart from this station bound for the South-West of France, Spain and Portugal. Gare del'Est: Today, trains leave for eastern France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Gare Montparnasse: Trains towards Britainny and western France leave from here, including the TGV Atlantique. Gare Saint Lazare: Trains leaving here will take one to Normandy and to Great Britain, via Dieppe. Gare du Nord: one can go to Belgium, Holland, northern Germany, and the Scandinavian countries. Gare de Bercy: Trains to Italy.
Keep driving licence and all car documents with you as it must be showed on the spot if requested by the police.
Never drink and drive. Tests are random and common. Fines are very heavy and instant.

130km/h on toll motorways (110 km/h when wet).
110km/h on dual carriageways and non toll motorways (110km/h when wet).
90 km/h on other main roads (80 km/h when wet).
50 km/h in towns and villages – sometimes slower so watch for signs.
Speeding fines are normally charged on the spot.
